Autoresponder

What is an Autoresponder?

An autoresponder represents a script triggered by user actions on a website and its main function is to automate email replies. It can also be triggered if the user directly replies to an email that uses an autoresponder.

How does an Autoresponder work?

Since they have increased in complexity over time, marketers can now create triggers for autoresponders based on the data you have collected on your website about them. Therefore, these triggers can be used for double opt-in subscriptions, welcome emails for sign-ups, and email marketing purposes, such as wishing users happy birthdays, cross-selling products to previous buyers, renewing memberships, re-engaging inactive users or cart abandoners, and many more.

Why is an Autoresponder important?

Marketers use autoresponders to keep the communication with their subscribers active and to also automate email marketing processes, in order to streamline their campaigns, reduce their workload, and improve their results.
